The process:
1. get in touch.
It means a lot to me, I know there is a sea of amazing photographers out there and if you have decided to enquire with me this means I have made somewhat of an impression...maybe it's because we both LOVE margaritas and chocolate.
Once you have sent your enquiry I will reach out via your preferred method of contact, then we get to know each other a little more and view my packages.
2. COMPLEMENTARY CONSULTATION
This obligation free consultation serves as an opportunity to meet in person or virtually, gain insight into one another while discussing your photography requirements and your unique vision for your special day. We explore various photography packages or customisable options tailored to your preferences. My aim is to ensure that our styles and visions align harmoniously to produce the most exquisite images possible. Equally important, I want you to be confident that I am the right photographer for you. When both parties are comfortable and in sync, the results are truly magical.
3. book your date.
Following our consultation, you might find you need to take some additional time to ponder your preferred photo coverage. Alternatively, you might be so thrilled that you reach out to me the very next day, ready to proceed with booking!

If you would like to book (happy dance!) I will send you your paperwork, you will sign a wedding agreement and fill in a wedding questionnaire and family photo list, this all helps me greatly during your day.
Whichever path you choose, please feel free to inform me of your decision, and I'll be here to assist you every step of the way.
4. on the day
On your wedding day I will arrive in the morning at the agreed time, you will have a timeline from me with helpful tips and information at this stage. I will capture everything as it unfolds, lots of candid moments and a few posed. After the ceremony we will do a group photo including all the guests and then into family photos, I will have a family photo list to read from, this takes all the stress out of this part of the day. From there we will be off to capture your photos with each other and your bridal party if you have one, I suggest taking an esky with drinks and food so you can have breaks and enjoy the experience with your friends. No need to stress if you're not too fussed on photos, I have strategies to help with this and we have lots of fun creating beautiful moments in beautiful light.
In saying all this, a whole heartedly believe not all couples nor wedding days are the same and all should be treated with fresh eyes and a fresh perspective, before your day we will have talked about what kind of day you are having, it may not be traditional laid out like the above, and this is ok, I love different and I am here to bring your visions to life.
5. after the day.
After your wedding day, within 48hrs I will have posted (with your permission) a preview from your day. Following your preview I will get to work editing your images in order of my shoot list, I will keep you updated as too the process and what to do next, for example if your package is filled with products I will give you instructions on how to choose your images for this process.
After approximately (depending on the season) 4 - 12 weeks you will have your full gallery of images in colour and black and white ready to share with loved ones.
After you have selected your images for your products (if you have them included) I will design, order and send your products to you.
These products typically include, albums, canvases or framed prints. If you like you are welcome to order additional products at any time.
My hope is after your wedding day in the near future I will hear from you to capture more milestones in your life such as maternity, newborn and family photos. I offer an exclusive $200 discount to returning clients to say thank you for choosing me again and again.

FAQ's WEDDINGS
How to book?
If you think you would like to book with me, {Yippee I’m doing a happy dance!} the next step is to contact me, you can do this via the contact page or give me a call or email me directly at info@zaralanephotography.com.au.
A $700 deposit is required upon booking and the wedding agreement is due to be returned within 7 days of the deposit being paid.
Do you travel for an elopement or destination wedding?
100% yes, I love to travel!
I am available to travel interstate or internationally, this can attract a large discount for the opportunity to visit somewhere new and shoot a love story in a completely different setting.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
If your session is outside of the Rockhampton area there may be a small surcharge for travel, ask me for more details.
In some cases I will waive the travel or accomodation fee if it means traveling out of my local area to somewhere new.
How long does film take to complete?
Your teaser film (preview film) will be available within 3 weeks after your wedding day.
Your main film will be available within 6 months or sooner depending on videographers work load.
How long will the preview take for photos?
Preview for your photos will be up loaded to my facebook page within 72hrs after your wedding day.
Can I pay off my package?
Yes you can, I only ask that full payment is made 30 days before your wedding date.
What if we want something more extreme for our elopement (hiking, diving, etc)?
What ever it may be I am 100% in!

WE DON'T REALLY LIKE GETTING OUR PHOTOS, WILL THIS HINDER OUR EXPERIENCE AND FINAL PRODUCT?
No not at all, I have been doing this for so long, I know all the tips and tricks to get you laughing and enjoying yourselves, you will forget you are in front of the camera.
WE WANT TO INCLUDE OUR FUR BABY/s IN OUR PHOTOS, IS THAT OKAY?
I am all about it!

CAN YOU HELP ME WITH CHOOSING LOCATIONS?
I can defiantly do that, I have many spots all over our local area that I could suggest once I know you a little better and know what setting will suit you best.
If your wedding is outside my local area I can still location scout in a number of ways and will be there usually the day before to confirm locations.
What if it rains on our day?
No need to stress about rain, rain makes for beautiful photos, it brightens everything up making everything rich in colour.
I also have clear umbrellas I bring with me to every wedding just in case.
